It is with great sadness we announce the death of Daniel Pomeroy, 23, on March 13th 2026. Daniel was born and adopted by Richard and Liz Pomeroy on February 5th 2003. He was born at 28 weeks, 1lb 14ozs. Richard’s wedding ring went right up his arm!
Daniel was the chief cashier at Branson’s Bin Store and was known and loved by all those who knew him. He would welcome everyone and was always ready for a chat. Daniel was genuinely concerned for those he talked with, and many people have shared how they were touched by his personality and willingness to be there for them. He loved the Lord with all his heart. It was not unknown for Daniel to run out of the store to catch a customer who had just left, to offer to pray with them at the side of the road. Known for his work ethic and charitable nature, he was always willing to lend a hand. Daniel enjoyed telling folks his story, including the fact that he had two sets of parents – Richard and Liz along with his birthparents Virgilio and Heidi. He is, and will be, sorely missed by his family and community.
Daniel wanted everything perfect in his life and tried to be perfect as well. He never had a big struggle with this until the last few days of his life, when he had an overwhelming, but unnecessary, guilt that led to his suicide.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Richard and Liz, his siblings Michelle, Michael, Hannah and Caleb, nieces Sydnee, Easton, Calli & Renzi along with his birth parents Heidi and Virgilio, and sisters Tiara and Destanie.
